Daley Data
The Ratings

What each number means

Every Daley Data rating uses the same scale: 70 is average for that player's position. Some ratings describe what happened. One tells you how a player helps you win.

DD Impact
What he did

How much a player did in a game. Every action he's involved in counts: credit when it comes off, a cost when it doesn't, and more weight for actions in the places that matter. Each game is scored against the position he played.

Use it for: best player of the game, Team of the Week, how a player's season is going.

DD Skill
How he helps you win

Built only from the stats in your games that actually go with winning for his position group: attackers, holding midfielders or the back line. A player can have a huge DD Impact and an average DD Skill. That gap is the interesting part.

DD Skill comes with a likely value and a range. With only a few games, it starts close to average and the range is wide. It narrows the more he plays.

DD Impact works from the first game. DD Skill needs at least 4 appearances, and 10 or more for a confident number. Until then, you'll see how many games he has so far.

Use it for: who stays in the XI, which upgrade is worth the coins.

DD Form 5
Who's hot

DD Impact over a player's last five games. It tells you who's playing well right now. It describes the last five; it doesn't promise the next five.

DD Boom
Big-game player

How often a player has a standout game, the kind near the top for his position. It's adjusted so a couple of lucky early games don't inflate it.

Use it for: finding the players who can win a game on their own when it clicks.

DD Archetypes
How he plays

A play-style name for every player, by position: Poacher, Regista, Ball Hawk, Libero, Wing Wizard and more. Names come from how he actually plays in your games, with a small nudge from his card attributes.

Keepers
Rated separately

Goalkeepers are never mixed in with outfield players. They're rated on the shots and chances they face against the goals they let in.

Why not just use the card overall?

Because in testing on our own games, the average overall of the starting XI had no link to results. DD ratings carried over from one set of games to the next. EA's match rating didn't.

Tested before it ships. Every rating is checked against luck before it goes live. If a number can't beat chance, it doesn't make the cut. How each rating is weighted stays under the hood.
